100 Pets in Cakung Vaccinated

As many as 100 pets owned by residents of RW 14, Cakung Timur, Cakung were vaccinated. The vaccine was injected to dog and cat to avoid rabies. After being injected, the pets were also given anti-stress drops.

The vaccine given is free. We’ll keep continue the effort by visiting pets owner

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana, said the vaccine is important to prevent rabies spread into pets and human.

“The vaccine given is free. We’ll keep continue the effort by visiting pets owner,” he said, Wednesday (5/11).

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Economy Assistant, Eric Pahlevi Zakaria Lumbun, admitted her side targets to give vaccine for 3,750 pets. There were 2,550 pets have been vaccinated during January up to May.

“Vaccine is not based on our target. It is hoped East Jakarta is free from rabies,” she added.
