East Jakarta Administration held vaccination for prone to rabies animals (HPR), at Jakarta Garden City, RW 14, Cakung Timur Urban Village.

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana, said the vaccination is important to prevent disease to animal. Especially for dog, cat, monkey and weasel. Rabies is one of deadliest diseases.

“I hope residents will actively participate in this program for the sake of our health also,” he said, Wednesday (5/11).

Holding this program at this such settlement is easier since the residents are cooperative. In fact, the program also targets other settlements by visiting the owner.

Amir Supriyadi (43), RW 14 head, admitted happy with this service. His residents usually spent Rp 300 thousand a month for vaccine to a pet doctor.

“This free service helping our residents much,” he stated.
