The city administration is targeting to install 4,000 closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras in all regions of the city. Currently, there are 1,714 CCTV that already connected to the Smart City program.

Head of Smart City Technical Management, Setiaji disclosed some CCTVs that have been connected with Smart City are installed at sluice gate in Jakarta, protocol roads, parks, bus stops, pedestrian bridges and flats. He explains, its installation is also the result of cooperation with optical fiber provider.
"All has been connected with Smart City. So we can do monitoring Transportation and Water Management dept," he stated, Thursday (5/12).
