Pasar Senen Fire Case, Police Question 6 Witnesses

Jakarta Police investigators are still questioning six witnesses related to the fire that burned Pasar Senen Blok III. In addition to that, Police Headquarters Central Forensic Laboratory (Puslabfor) has also been deployed to find the cause of fire.

“We cannot explain the cause of fire yet, because our team has not got into the scene. Let the firefighters cooling the scene first. We’re still questioning six witnesses ,” stated Jakarta Police Chief Inspector General Dwi Priyatno, Friday (4/25).

Dozens of fire trucks from Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Department were deployed to extinguish the fire that struck Pasar Senen Blok III from 4 AM on Friday. It is estimated that more than two thousand kiosks burned in this incident.
