Anticipating rabies spread, South Jakarta Sub-dep. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) netted 73 wild cats.
Cat could spread rabies since its population is fast
The effort was done at two different locations, Pondok Pinang Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama by 66 cats, and Vila Delima, Lebak Bulus Urban Village, Cilandak by seven cats.
Kristrisasi Helenandari, head of agency, admitted that the effort was based on residents’ report.

After that, those cats were taken to Husbandry Health Center, Husbandry Technology and Husbandry Quality Testing Technical Unit.
