Malls in Jakarta Must Provide Land for PKL

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat wants the entire mall manager to provide a land to accommodate street vendors (PKL). Moreover, during this time, street vendor is rampant around mall.

Mall also has an obligation to provide a land for street vendor as traffic jam anticipation

According to him, street vendor is exist because the mall employees who often buy drink and food in the stall. Considering the price is cheap than mall.

"Mall also has an obligation to provide a land for street vendor as traffic jam anticipation," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (5/16).

By doing so, he is optimistic the vendors who open stall around mall will disappear gradually. The condition would further increase benefits for mall management. This is because the area was no longer seedy.

"But if they still open stall around mall, Satpol PP must control them," he finished.
