Many Transjakarta Separators in Corridor VI Damaged

Many Transjakarta separators in corridor VI (Dukuh Atas 2-Ragunan), precisely at Jl Mampang Prapatan until Warung Jati Barat and vice versa are missing and damaged. Along the lane, there are at least 13 points of separator damaged and used as an access by vehicles that trapped at traffic jam.

Separator is damaged and misused by the passing motorcycle, especially at rush hour

Taufik, (51), a peddler of Jl Mampang Prapatan disclosed, separator was almost collapsed and cracked. The damage is also worsened by the passing motorcycle on the bus lanes.

"Separator is damaged and misused by the passing motorcycle, especially at rush hour. Its chunks also scattered on the street and is very dangerous," he told, Monday (5/23).

Head of Maintenance Section, Jakarta Bina Marga Dept, Suko Wibowo Edy Santoso disclosed the damaged separator is caused by some reasons. Among them are weather, age, accident and the passing motorist on the lane.

He promised will immediately fix it, either in corridor IV or othet corridors.

"We'll fix it soon. It will be coordinated with Transportation Dept," he closed.
