The existence of Transjakarta bus lanes that is free from other vehicles are asked to be elevated. The way that should be done is by elevating its lane separators.

Director of City Police Traffic Unit, Sr. Comr. Risyapudin disclosed that the existing lane is still used by other vehicles. They only want to arrive to the destination quickly.

"We hope the local government can elevate the bus lane separator," he expressed, Thursday (4/14).

He assessed, if the number of Transjakarta bus could be multiplied, it would shorten the transportation interval. Thus people want to switch to public transport services.

"If the bus is not ready, I think other vehicle will desperately use the lane, despite the separator has been elevated. That's why bus with large numbers is needed and will be very helpful," he finished.
