25 joint personnel of Satpol PP, police, East Jakarta Social Sub-dept, urban village, sub-district and Early Awareness Society Forum (FKDM) have netted 17 people with social welfare issues (PMKS) from Makasar area, East Jakarta, Wednesday (5/25) night until Thursday (6/26) morning.

Last night until this morning, we controlled 17 PMKS

Makasar Sub-district Vice Head, Tri Saptanti disclosed the raid is done because it is approaching the fasting month where PMKS began to roam. They are commonly operating at night.

"Last night until this morning, we controlled 17 PMKS. We then bring them to the Ceger Social House, Cipayung. They consist of street musicians, pak ogah (illegal parking officers) and punk kids," he told, Thursday (5/26).

He explains, those PMKS are netted from Jalan Jatiwaringin Cipinag Melayu, Garuda intersection and Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, precisely in front of Haji Dormitory.

"The raid will keep being intensified thus the street can be free from PMKS during the fasting month," he finished.
