Flat Occupants Encouraged to Participate in Family Planning

Central Jakarta Administration along with army are conducting program of Army Manunggal for Health Family Planning (TMKK) in the Petamburan Flat, Tanah Abang, Thursday (5/26).

Through family planning program, the young married couple or childbearing age is able to create a family resilience towards healthy, prosperous and happy families

"Through family planning program, the young married couple or childbearing age is able to create a family resilience towards healthy, prosperous and happy families," said Ireni, Head of Central Jakarta Community Development, Women and Family Planning Office (PMPKB).

The TMKK is routinely conducted every year by cooperating with army. It is conducted for six months in order to suppress the number of birth, foster and develop the family resilience to create a young generation of superior, quality and noble.

Further, the implementation that started at Petamburan Flat is because of understanding about family planning such as educate and babysitting as well as the use of contraceptives is very low, thus it needs to be optimized back.

"Our emphasis is mechanism of long-term family planning such as male surgery method (mop), female surgery method (mow), IUD and implant," he stated.

Meanwhile, Mayor of Central Jakarta, Mangara Pardede urges all citizens to participate in such program.

"It is very important, because can improve and nourish the residents itself," he finished.
