City Prepares Rp 1.7 Trillion as Bus Procurement

The Jakarta Provincial Government prepares Rp 1.7 trillion as Transjakarta and Integrated city Busway (BKTB) buses. It is aimed to advance the public transportation service in the city. Different from previous system, the procurement will not use auction but e-catalogue.

Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, Muhammad Akbar, said with e-catalogue, his side does not need to survey the goods. It will be done by Government's Goods and Service Procurement Agency (LKPP). E-catalogue also provides more options.
"The procurement is being prepared. LKPP is still working on e-catalogue to input the bus prices," said Akbar at City Hall, Monday (4/28).
