TransJakarta Bus Route Extension to Bekasi Hampered

The plan to extend TransJakarta bus route from Pulogadung to Harapan Indah, Bekasi, seems will not be realized in a short time. This is because until now PT TransJakarta is still lacking of fleets, so the route extension, which has been planned since December 2012, cannot be realized yet.

Right now, the fleets for Corridor II are still very lack. If the route extended to Bekasi, the bus’ mileage will automatically be farther

Right now, the fleets for Corridor II are still very lack. If the route extended to Bekasi, the bus’ mileage will automatically be farther,” stated Head of TransJakarta Service Unit, Pargaulan Butarbutar, Saturday (4/19).

According to Butarbutar, the bus stops construction for the route extension in Corridor II has finished. As for the bus lanes, his party will prepare mix lanes that can be passed by other vehicles. Such a thing is conducted because the existing roads are tight and narrow.

Transjakarta Corridor XIII Elevated Lane Awaits for Auction

If only the plan of TransJakarta bus addition for 310 fleets realized soon, he continued, TransJakarta bus route Pulogadung-Harapan Indah extension would not be hampered. Even so, TransJakarta will continuously replace old TransJakarta bus fleets with new ones gradually.
