2,636 Animals Vaccinated During January-May

Since January up to May 25, 2016, as many as 2,636 prone to rabies animals in North Jakarta have been vaccinated.

Rabies vaccination target for this year is for dogs, cats, and monkeys

North Jakarta Head Section of Husbandry and Animal Health for Sub-dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP), Tati Kustianti, admitted the number is exceed the target by 2,500 animals.

“Rabies vaccination target for this year is for dogs, cats, and monkeys,” she said, Friday (5/27).

73 Wild Cats Netted in South Jakarta

Vaccinated animals in details are 1,825 dogs, 790 cats, and 21 monkeys.

“We remain giving vaccination even though already exceeding the target,” she added.
