Basuki Minta Bulog Perbaiki Kualitas Raskin

Basuki Asks Bulog to Fix Raskin Quality

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama asks the Logistic Agency (Bulog) to fix the quality of rice for the poor (raskin). All this time, residents are complaining its quality is bad, thus cannot be consumed.

Raskin quality is bad, we should send a letter to Bulog to fix it

"Raskin quality is bad, should send a letter to Bulog to fix it," he stated, during executive meeting (rapim), at City Hall, Monday (5/30).

He assessed, residents do not mind with hike price on raskin, as long as its quality is better. He proposed the price to be increased up to Rp 2,000 or Rp 2,500 per liter. This time, raskin per liter is only Rp 1,600.

Raskin Distribution in W. Jakarta Is Better

"I believe residents were willing to pay Rp 2,500 per liter, as long as the quality is better than paying Rp 1,600 but it is bad quality," he expressed.

Aside that, his party also wants to fix its distribution. Considering it is deemed unoptimal. As planned, it would be managed by PT Tjipinang Food Station.

"Raskin distribution is unoptimal due to not right on the target. So, in future, I want it can be handed over to the Food Station. We change the pattern," he closed.
