Therefore, he instructed his staff, including the Mayor, to pay special attention to permits for the construction of houses of worship.
"I conveyed to the ranks of mayors, we must pay special attention so that the development process like this does not drag on and be prolonged," he emphasized.
The Governor also hopes that the Taman Harapan Jakarta Seventh-day Adventist Church will truly bring coolness, peace, and tranquility to its congregation.
"Let us take care of this church together so that all of you in your prayers will find peace, tranquility and confidence," he hoped.
The Governor reiterated his commitment to being a leader for all religious and ethnic groups in Jakarta. He cited the celebrations of various religious holidays held by the Jakarta Provincial Government, such as the Christmas Colossal, Chinese New Year, Nyepi, and Eid al-Fitr.
The harmonious and tolerant religious life that has been created in Jakarta needs to be continuously nurtured and protected by all elements of society, so that Jakartans can experience peace and tranquility.
Pramono assessed that religious life in Jakarta is progressing very well. This is reflected, among other things, in Jakarta's Human Development Index (HDI), which ranks highest in Indonesia.
"This is reflected in matters related to religion, health, education, and society. Why are we ranked highest? Our tolerance is considered a province with the highest tolerance," he stated.
