A greening program in Seribu Islands is held again. This time, it will be focused on Lancang Island, Pari Island Urban Village. In the island, at least 30 trees type kelor and so on will be planted on empty lands.

"We will plant 30 trees such as banana, etc on empty lands," said Head of Pari Island Urban Village, Murta'a, Monday (5/30).

He explains, as greening pilot stage, it will be focused on empty lands. In future, local citizens are hoped able to plant kelor tree on their house yards.

"This is an effort to reduce global warming also. Because in the island, the weather is getting hot. That's why Bukit Pelangi is still being greened thus it could be a shelter for the fisher," he finished.
