Deputy Governor, Rano Karno led the community service on Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta.

"Today we are simultaneously participating in community service, mutual cooperation through the Jaga Jakarta Bersih movement," he said.
This movement involved nearly 100 thousand joint personnel, which included State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Individual Other Service Providers (PJLP), Expert Staff (TA) of the Jakarta Provincial Government, as well as the community and the Army/Police.
In this activity, the Jakarta Provincial Government deployed 60 units of heavy equipment and 144 dump trucks to handle 66 priority locations.
Rano added that the main focus of this activity is to drain and clean water channels to increase the capacity of the water channels and prevent blockages by garbage.
"Fogging doesn't reduce mosquito larvae. We can effectively control mosquito larvae if we clean the environment. That's why we've heard of the 3Ms. Now, we need to convey this to the public," he added.
Rano continued that the Jakarta Provincial Government is collaborating with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) throughout Jakarta to implement this activity. Jakarta PMI is providing support by providing nearly 5,000 hoes, 5,000 shovels, 10,000 wheelbarrows, and 3,000 sacks to transport the waste.
Each administrative city received 1,000 hoes, 1,000 shovels, 200 carts, and 600 sacks. Rano also encouraged the entire Jakarta community to work together to keep Jakarta clean and healthy.
"It can't be done alone, we have to do it together," Rano emphasized.
