S. Jakarta Tightens PMKS Supervision at Praying House

The supervision of people with social-welfare problem (PMKS) during fasting month in South Jakarta will be tightened. P3S personnel are not only deployed at 11 prone to PMKS locations, but also at praying house.

Mursidin Nasir, South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Social, said P3S personnel will be deployed at praying house ahead of break fasting and after taraweh pray.

“We need to prevent PMKS disturbing the citizens activity,” he said, Saturday (6/4).

12 PMKS in Tanah Abang Secured

According to him, the 11 locations prone to PMKS in South Jakarta are Pancoran intersection, Blok M, CSW intersection, Pasar Rumput, Mampang Prapatan, RS Fatmawati intersection, Trakindo intersection Jalan Cilanak KKO, Jalan Hang Lekir Pertamina, Pejaten Republika intersection, and Kebayoran Lama.

“Personnel will also supervise at the meal time (sahur),” he added.
