Broken and Fallen Trees in East Jakarta Fully Evacuated

As many as 18 Green and Orange Troop personnel evacuated broken and fallen trees in different locations in East Jakarta.

There were no fatalities or injuries

Head Section of Green Belt and Cemetery for East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Made Widhi Adnyana Surya Pratita said the broken and fallen trees were evacuated last night.

"Handling was carried out quickly because one of the trees was covering part of the Jagorawi Toll Road," he said, Thursday (2/12).

Fallen Tree on Jalan TB Simatupang Quickly Handled

He explained that a tabebuya tree measuring approximately 30 centimeters in diameter fell on Jalan Pintu 1 of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in Ceger Urban Village. Meanwhile, a banyan tree measuring approximately 40 centimeters in diameter was snapped on the Jagorawi Toll Road in Dukuh Urban Village.

"There were no fatalities or injuries due to the fallen and splintered trees," he added.

Meanwhile, Head of Dukuh Atas Urban Village, Riswanto stated six PPSU personnel were deployed to assist the evacuation on Jagorawi toll road.

"This step was taken so that handling could be completed quickly and not disrupt traffic on the toll road," he admitted.
