Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management keeps accelerating to dredge connecting channel. Now the agency has completed the dredging in eight sub-districts.
Now we have dredged 51 our of 138 connecting channels
Boris Karlop Lumbangaol, Head Section of Maintenance for the agency, said dredging the connecting channel is the main priority. It is aimed to normalize the function and minimize puddle.
“Now we have dredged 51 our of 138 connecting channels,” he said, Sunday (6/5).
Connecting Channel in Johar Baru DredgedHe added that the effort also meets obstacle such as utility, illegal huts, and so on. His side targets to complete the project in December 2016.
