Chinese New Year Holiday, Ancol Flocked by Visitors

People flocked to Ancol Taman Impian in North Jakarta to enjoy their Chinese New Year holiday. The number of visitors is predicted to increase until Tuesday (2/17).

"On February 14, 24,664 visitors were recorded. Yesterday, February 15, the number increased to 27,989 people," he said, Monday (2/16).

He explained that today, the number of tourists is estimated to exceed 20,000. Meanwhile, at the peak of the Chinese New Year celebrations, February 17th, visits are projected to exceed 30,000.

"The various cultural performances and entertainment that we have prepared will be an attraction for celebrating togetherness with family in Ancol," he explained.

According to him, various typical Chinese New Year attractions will enliven Lagoon Beach, starting from the Table Lion Dance with acrobatic acts, the Tonggak Lion Dance, Liong or Dragon Dance, Fan Dance, to the 1,000 Hand Dance.

"The atmosphere became even more lively with the TYM Project and DJ Agung music concert which combined traditional and modern nuances on the beach," he added.

On February 17, 2026, he continued, Ancol is offering a special pass ticket promotion for Rp 150,000 per person. With one ticket, visitors can enjoy all recreation areas, including Dufan, SeaWorld Ancol, Samudra, Jakarta Bird Land, Atlantis, and access to the Ancol gate.

"This promotion is valid for one day only. This is the best time to enjoy all the rides and celebrate Chinese New Year at Ancol," he continued.

According to him, the management has also prepared a parking area that can accommodate more than 10 thousand four-wheeled vehicles and 15 thousand two-wheeled vehicles.

He appealed to visitors to pay attention to weather conditions, maintain safety, and follow the directions of officers while in the tourist area.
