Monitoring towards fast-breaking meals that containing hazardous chemicals like takjil (light meals to break the fast), will be intensified on the second day of the fasting.

"We began to monitor takjil on the second day of the fasting. We already have location data from each sub-dept," disclosed Irwandi, Head of Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives (KUMKMP) Dept, Monday (6/6).

Irwandi stated that peddlers who are caught selling dangerous food will be made in a dossier (BAP). Their merchandises would also be seized.

"Particularly processed foods containing the rhodamine B (normally used as textile dye), borax and formalin," he asserted.

He assessed, a number of street food locations that will be monitored are Benhil, Rawamangun, Jalan Panjang and Kelapa Gading.
