Jakarta in for a City-Wide Soak Today, BMKG Forecasts

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that Jakarta is in for a soak today, with weather conditions ranging from overcast to light rain.

Today's temperature ranges from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius

"Rain in the morning," BMKG’s official website noted for the capital's early outlook, Thursday (2/19).

By midday, the Seribu Islands is expected to see thundery skies, while Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta will remain under a blanket of clouds.

Jakarta Launches OMC as a Shield against Heavy Rain

As the afternoon progresses, light showers are set to dampen parts of the city, specifically in Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, and West Jakarta. As for the Central, South, and East Jakarta will stay overcast.

The rainy trend is expected to linger through the night, with BMKG predicting light rain across all six administrative regions.

Today's temperature ranges from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 78 and 96 percent.
