Mega explained that the activity conducted several activities such as cleaning the areas inside and outside the mosque, starting from the prayer area, ablution, to the yard.
"The joint personnel also cleaned the Pangeran Jayakarta graveyard area, as well as repainted the mosque wall," he added.
East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Alfian Nurizal, stated that this cleanup was carried out to provide comfort and safety for Muslims performing the five daily prayers and the tarawih prayer at the mosque, as well as for pilgrims visiting the graves near the mosque.
"The Indonesian National Police is present not only to enforce the law, but also to maintain security, order, comfort and conduciveness in the East Jakarta area," he stated.
During the activity, his side deployed 50 personnel to join with local PPSU personnel in cleaning the mosque.
