"A total of 4,500 affordable food packages have been prepared and ready for distribution to residents during Ramadan. Of these, 1,500 packages to be distributed directly to residents along the Jakarta LRT Phase 1B construction route," he said, Friday (2/27).

Iwan detailed that 1,500 affordable food packages are prepared for residents along the Jakarta LRT Phase 1B construction route, consisting of 500 packages in Pegangsaan Urban Village on March 3, 2026; 500 packages in Manggarai Urban Village on March 4, 2026; and 500 packages in Paseban Urban Village on March 5, 2026.

Meanwhile, another 3,000 affordable food packages will be available to the public on Sunday, March 1, 2026, as part of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) Ramadan Festival, so that the benefits of Ramadan can be felt by a wider community.

The cheap basic food package can be redeemed for Rp100,000 from the normal price of Rp150,000, containing five kilograms of rice, one kilogram of wheat flour, one liter of cooking oil, and one kilogram of sugar.

"This affordable basic food program is part of the implementation of the Jakarta Governor's commitment to revitalize and strengthen people's purchasing power, especially amidst the momentum of economic growth which continues to show a positive trend," he explained.

He stated that household consumption remains the mainstay of Jakarta's economy, so efforts to maintain people's purchasing power play a strategic role in ensuring economic activity continues to move and the benefits of growth can be felt more evenly.

"Various stimuli continue to be pushed to ensure that the wheels of the economy keep turning, employment is maintained, and increasingly positive economic growth can be felt inclusively by all levels of society," he stated.
