South Jakarta City Government Seals Padel Field in Cilandak

South Jakarta City Government through Public Works, Spatial Planning, and Land Sub-agency sealed a padel court on Jalan Haji Nawi Raya, Gandaria Selatan Urban Village, Cilandak District.

We re-sealed the area

Head of the Sub-agency, Andy Lazuardy said this action was taken because the facility did not yet have a complete operational permit.

"We re-sealed the area, considering that the district rank had also done so previously. All actions we took were based on applicable regulations," he said.

Andy explained that, based on Government Regulation Number 16/2021 about Building Construction and Government Regulation Number 21/2021 about the Implementation of Spatial Planning, buildings without permits can be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of sealing.

Before the sealing, the management had received administrative procedures in stages, starting from the First Warning Letter (SP1), SP2, to SP3, as well as the first sealing in November 2025.

"Currently, we are also conducting an inventory and data collection of other similar facilities in the South Jakarta area," he added.

According to him, the possibility of opening the seal can be considered if the management has completed all the required permits and ensures that business activities do not disturb the surrounding environment.

"The permitting process is underway. However, one requirement remains unmet. In addition to administrative issues, there have been complaints from residents regarding noise. Management plans to add soundproofing as part of the environmental compliance requirements," he stated.

He urged all business owners to pay attention to permit requirements and environmental conditions before undertaking construction. Even in commercial zones, the conduciveness of the surrounding environment must still be a priority.
