Jakarta Weather: Rain Expected Today

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts a mix of cloudy skies and light-intensity rain across Jakarta today.

Temperatures today are expected to hover between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius

"Rain in the morning," stated BMKG's official website on Wednesday (3/4).

By the noon, light showers are expected to soak several areas, including Seribu Islands, Central Jakarta, and North Jakarta. Then, thunderstorms are projected to hit South and East Jakarta, while West Jakarta is expected to transition to cloudy conditions.

As the day progresses into the afternoon, light rain will persist in Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, and West Jakarta. In contrast, Central, South, and East Jakarta will see a shift toward overcast skies.

By nightfall, cloudy weather is set to blanket the entire capital, covering Seribu Islands, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta.

Temperatures today are expected to hover between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels ranging from 74 to 92 percent.
