PD Pasar Jaya will hold market operation at three traditional markets in Central Jakarta. The event is held from June 4 to July 17. It is hoped would be able to stabilize the price during fasting month and Eid ul Fitr.
It is held at Johar Baru, Palmerah, and Gondangdia
Gatra Vaganza, PD Pasar Jaya Public Relation, said the operation is held simultaneously at 20 markets in Jakarta. It opens since 8 AM up to 1 PM during fasting month.
“It is held at Johar Baru, Palmerah, and Gondangdia,” he said, Tuesday (6/7).
Market Operation Starts from Early RamadanStaple foods sold at the event are chicken Rp 29 thousands, foreshank Rp 85 thousand, shank Rp 89 thousand, five kilograms rice Rp 39 thousand, wheat Rp 8,500, cooking oil Rp 21 thousand, sugar Rp 14 thousand, red chili Rp 20 thousand, red onion Rp 27 thousand, and chicken egg Rp 22 thousand.
“The event is held to stabilize and suppress the price. July 4-10 the event is off. It starts again on July 11,” he closed.
