Central Jakarta Mayor Arifin stated that the operation involved a massive joint personnel, including Satpol PP, transportation sub-agency, public works and water resources sub-agencies, and PPSU, with support from the police and army. The crackdown focused on clearing illegal parking and unauthorized street vendors who had been occupying sidewalks and roadways throughout the district.
"This aims to reclaim the sidewalks and roadways that have been overwhelmed by illegal parking and streer vendor stalls, which frequently trigger severe traffic gridlock," he expressed.

He also directed local PPSU to carry out routine cleanups in Kebon Kacang Sub-district to ensure the high-traffic shopping hub remains pristine and orderly.
Further, Arifin urged the public’s sense of civic duty, urging vendors to stop encroaching on sidewalks and roadways and calling for an immediate halt to illegal parking in the vicinity.
