"We appreciate the Jakarta Provincial Government for providing free homecoming facilities for residents," he said, Tuesday (3/10).

He also advised travelers to maintain Jakarta's good name while in their hometowns.

Rio hopes that Jakarta residents can become agents of change by sharing the positive experiences they have gained while living in the capital, particularly regarding productivity and mastery of information and technology.

"Be an agent of transformation by sharing the productive and positive things you have learned in Jakarta, such as mastery of information and technology," he added.

Rio also reminded residents to be wise if they want to bring relatives from their hometowns to Jakarta after Eid. He emphasized the importance of ensuring job readiness and adequate human resource capabilities.

"Don't come without a clear job, which will ultimately become a social burden in the city," he continued.

As for information, Jakarta Provincial Government is again holding a free homecoming program this year with a quota of 26,440 passengers and 900 motorbikes.

The program serves 20 destination cities in Java and Sumatra. Registration is divided into three time clusters based on destination, and is open from late February to early March.
