Transjakarta Introduces QRIS Tap Payments via BRImo

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has partnered with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) to introduce a fast payment system using QRIS Tap technology through the launch of Tap BRImo.

Transjakarta customers can now use the BRImo app to purchase Transjakarta tickets using QRIS Tap starting Tuesday (3/10).

Transjakarta's Director of Business and Asset Utilization, Fadly Hasan, said the company continues to introduce digital-based service innovations to improve customer convenience.

He added that the strategic partnership aims to make public transport payments more practical, faster, and inclusive for customers.

"Collaboration with BRI through the QRIS Tap feature on the BRImo app is expected to provide easier payment access for the public while supporting a more integrated public transportation ecosystem," he explained, Wednesday (3/11).

Fadly added that the initiative is part of Transjakarta's commitment to supporting the national digital payment system program. Currently, QRIS Tap BRImo payments are available at 568 gates across the 14 Transjakarta BRT corridors and on 1,950 Tap on Bus (ToB) devices on non-BRT buses.

“For your information, QRIS Tap BRImo payments can be used by Android users equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology," he emphasized.

How to use QRIS Tap BRImo

1. Log in to the BRImo application

2. Tap the QRIS button on the homepage

3. Select the QRIS Tap button to tap in

4. View the list of active transactions to tap out

5. Enter the BRImo PIN

6. The transaction page will appear

7. A notification confirming successful tap in/tap out will be displayed
