Health Services in Jakarta Remain Fully Operational During Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr Holidays

The central government and the Jakarta Provincial Government have ensured that health services remain fully operational during the collective leave for Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri holidays.

"Doctors and medical personnel will remain on standby to provide health services to residents,"

The statement was delivered by Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini during a visit to Pasar Minggu Regional General Hospital (RSUD) on Monday (3/16), accompanied by Jakarta Health Agency Head Ani Ruspitawati.

Health Posts Stationed to Ensure Comfort for Homecoming Travelers

Rini said the visit was aimed at ensuring public services, particularly health services, continue running optimally despite the start of the holiday period.

"As we know, the collective leave period began today. We are entering a holiday period of around two weeks ahead of Eid al-Fitr. We want to ensure that hospitals continue providing optimal services to the public," she stated.

According to Rini, health services are among the essential services that must remain available at all times.

"The President has also emphasized that public services must continue to run well even during holidays," she added.

Based on information from the Jakarta Health Agency and hospital management, Pasar Minggu Hospital will continue operating 24 hours a day, although certain outpatient clinics will adjust their schedules during national holidays.

"Doctors and medical personnel will remain on standby to provide health services to residents," she said.

Rini also highlighted the hospital’s online registration system, which allows patients to register without long queues and helps minimize crowding.

Pasar Minggu Hospital has also received the Excellent Service Award and the Integrity Zone designation from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB), reflecting it's commitment to delivering quality services.

In addition, residents can submit complaints or appreciation through various available channels.

"Each clinic provides a public satisfaction survey barcode that patients can scan. If the service is unsatisfactory, please report it. If it is good, residents can also share their appreciation. Reports can also be submitted through www.lapor.go.id," she explained.

Rini noted that the service flow at Pasar Minggu Hospital is comfortable, including separate services for elderly patients and children from registration to medication pickup at the pharmacy.

She added that Pasar Minggu Hospital is also one of Jakarta's referral hospitals for cancer treatment.

"I would also like to thank health workers, doctors, and all staff who continue serving the public during major holidays," she said.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Health Agency Head Ani Ruspitawati said the city has prepared comprehensive health services during the holiday period.

A total of 44 sub-district community health centers and 290 urban village health centers remain ready to serve residents, while 31 regional hospitals across Jakarta are on standby.

"Emergency units and other critical services will remain open 24 hours," she asserted.

To support emergency services, the Jakarta Health Agency has also deployed 96 ambulances across the city.

"These ambulances are prepared to provide rapid access to health services, both for pre-hospital treatment and referrals between health facilities," she noted.
