Iin Checks Homecoming Services at Kalideres Terminal

West Jakarta City Government ranks, Tuesday (3/17), monitored the homecoming flow at Kalideres Bus Terminal.

West Jakarta Mayor, Iin Mutmainah said this inspection was carried out to ensure that residents who wish to return to their hometowns via the Kalideres Terminal can feel safe and comfortable.

"We check everything, from fleet readiness and driver health to various supporting facilities like restrooms and waiting rooms. Overall, it's quite good," she said.

She added that various supporting post tents have also been prepared, ranging from rest areas, children's literacy, health checks, as well as women's unit monitoring and complaint posts.

"The presence of this post is an effort to anticipate acts of violence or deviations against vulnerable groups of women, children and the elderly, both in the terminal area and in transportation," she added.

Jakarta City Council Member, Hardiyanto Kenneth, who also joined the visit, admitted the facilities and services at Kalideres Terminal are currently quite adequate.

"If it's hot, this terminal building is indeed old. So after this, we'll evaluate whether it needs revitalization," he admitted.
