Joint personnel successfully collected approximately two tons of rubbish on Wednesday (4/1) during the cleaning of the banks of the Pesanggrahan River, Srengseng Urban Village, Kembangan, West Jakarta.

Head of Kembangan District, Joko Suparno said the activity involved 65 joint personnel and local residents.

Joko stated that during yesterday's cleanup operation, personnel demolished a total of 20 semi-permanent illegal buildings.
He hopes that after the cleanup, no further construction will occur at the site.
"The cleaning was completed today. So we proposed to related agency to create green open space at the location," he stated.
