Water channel on Jalan Pejambon, Gambir, is cleaned by personnel of Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management. The channel in front of Borobudur Hotel is dredged because of its mud thickness.

Boris Karlop Lumbangaol, Central Jakarta Head Section of Maintenance for Sub-dept. of Water Management, said the cleaning has been started since May 19, 2016. Up to today, personnel have transported 1,000 mud sacks.
“Channel’s mud thickness has reached 120 cm,” he said, Wednesday (6/8).
Channel on Jalan Alaydrus RepairedHe added that 10 personnel are deployed everyday to dredge the channel. It is predicted the effort will complete in mid June.
“Our target is complete in 4 weeks. Now we have run in 3 weeks,” he added.
