All Dukcapil Staff in Kramat Pela Remain on Duty to Serve Residents

The Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Unit of Kramat Pela Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, South Jakarta, maintains full service operations, with all personnel present and on duty.

Dukcapil civil servants do not implement the work-from-home (WFH) policy

Head of the Kramat Pela Dukcapil Unit, Adi Prihartono, emphasized that Dukcapil civil servants do not implement the work-from-home (WFH) policy, as their duties involve direct public services.

"We do not implement WFH and continue to serve residents who need civil administration services such as ID cards, birth certificates, and family cards,"he said on Friday (4/10).

According to him, ID card services are currently the most in demand. In addition, updates to Family Cards (KK) have also increased in line with the school enrollment period.

"Family Cards are closely related to education matters, so the data must be updated, including ensuring the barcode is included," he explained.

Amid the WFH policy aimed at reducing fuel consumption, Kramat Pela Dukcapil Unit has introduced an additional service innovation through the “Friday Evening” program.

"This program extends Adminduk service hours from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM," he informed.

He added that the free services include first-time electronic ID (e-KTP) registration, Family Card processing, Child Identity Cards (KIA), as well as move-in and relocation services at all service points.

"This service is designed to accommodate residents who are busy from morning to afternoon, so they can still access civil administration services," he explained.

Adi noted that the Kramat Pela Dukcapil office also actively provides outreach services through population awareness programs, as well as mobile services for newcomers and e-KTP registration at schools.

"We strive to provide maximum service to the public, as population data is a basic necessity for all residents," he stressed.

Meanwhile, a resident, Enggar (31) expressed appreciation for the services provided by the Kramat Pela Dukcapil officers, noting that the process runs smoothly with clear and easy-to-understand information.

"The service is very helpful, especially for those in a hurry. The explanations are concise, clear, and to the point. Hopefully, services like this can be maintained and even improved," he said.

For context, Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has issued Governor Circular No. 3/SE/2026 on Work Culture Transformation through adjustments to official duties for civil servants.

Under the regulation, the WFH policy does not apply to those working in essential public services, including healthcare, education, population administration, licensing, security, sanitation, tax and Samsat services, as well as emergency and public order services.
