The Yellow Troop personnel of Cilincing District's Public Works Unit, North Jakarta repaired road and curb to improve resident's safety and comfort.

Unit's Field Coordinator, Syafrin said the road repair was run on Jalan Cenderawasih, Sukapura Urban Village. Then the curb repair was run on Jalan Akses Marunda, Semper Timur Urban Village.

Syafrin explained repairs to damaged roads on Jalan Cenderawasih were carried out at six points with varying sizes, namely 9.5 x 0.5 meters; 5.4 x 1 meter; 2 x 0.4 meters; 8.5 x 0.5 meters; 5 x 0.7 meters; and 2.8 x 1.1 meters.
"The work involved seven Yellow Troop personnel and supporting equipment. The road repairs used at least 50 sacks of cold mix material," he explained.
Then the curb repairs were carried out along a 28-meter on Jalan AksesvMarunda. The damage was reportedly caused by a heavy container vehicle.
Syarifin appealed to the public to help maintain the condition of road infrastructure by reporting damage early so that it can be addressed immediately.
"Public participation is crucial. We hope the public will continue to actively report any damaged roads or public facilities that need repair," he added.
Meanwhile, Ella (30), a local resident, appreciated the officers' quick steps in dealing with the damaged roads and sidewalks in her area.
"Now the potholes have been repaired, making it more comfortable and safer for me to drive," she admitted.
