Jakpro Strengthens Regional Driving Role through Innovative Financing

PT Jakarta Propertindo or Jakpro welcomed the direction of the Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, at the 2026 BUMD Leaders Forum which took place in Ancol, North Jakarta, some time ago.

encourage a new economic corridor

Jakpro Director, Iwan Takwin, said that Jakpro is strengthening its role as a city master developer through strategic asset-based area development.

Jakpro Promotes Integration Between JIS and KRL Station

The Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area, which will be connected to the KRL service in June 2026 and will be integrated with the Jakarta LRT network in the future, is an example of the development of an integrated ecosystem that combines sports, commercial, and public space functions.

"At the same time, connectivity is strengthened through the JIS–Ancol integrated pedestrian path to improve accessibility and encourage a new economic corridor in North Jakarta," he said, Tuesday (4/21).

Iwan explained that this strengthening of connectivity has encouraged increased activity in the region, as evidenced by the increasing number of visits and venue utilization, as well as the emergence of new economic hubs in North Jakarta.

"The development of mixed-use and transit-oriented development (TOD) areas will further strengthen long-term investment value while supporting more integrated urban growth," he explained.

Jakpro prioritizes a creative financing approach through various schemes in implementing strategic projects, such as project financing, revenue sharing, and investment partnerships with the private sector.

The implementation of this approach has been seen in various asset-based projects developed with strategic partners.

"Including the management of sports and cultural arts facilities such as JIS, Velodrome, and Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), as well as the development of commercial projects without direct dependence on the City Budget," he added.

Total visits to the three Jakpro-managed venues reached more than 3.5 million throughout 2025, with a total of over 750 events held at these three strategic venues. Meanwhile, the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) percentage was over 88 percent.

"Jakpro focuses on activating the JIS, Velodrome, and TIM venues as an effort to increase public awareness and generate crowds to create added value and a multiplier impact in the future," he continued.

In addition, Jakpro is also focusing on accelerating the revitalization of Muara Karang Market (PMK), with completion targeted for the second half of this year. All foundation and substructure work has been 100% completed, and work is currently focused on the superstructure. Progress on the superstructure has reached the sixth floor, representing approximately 50 percent of the building's area.

Muara Karang Market is presented as more than just a transaction space, but also as part of the effort to support the Jakarta Provincial Government's agenda in strengthening Jakarta's competitiveness towards becoming an inclusive, modern, and sustainable global city under the leadership of Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung.

"This approach ensures the project continues to run optimally with a sound financing structure, while providing measurable returns for partners and added value for the Jakarta Provincial Government. Project guarantee mechanisms are also being continuously strengthened to increase market confidence and expand access to more competitive financing sources," he emphasized.
