North Jakarta Social Services Sub-agency Distributes 72 Hearing AidsBernard detailed that of the total 33 wheelchairs distributed, seven units were given to residents of Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village, nine units in Kebayoran Lama Selatan, two units in Grogol Selatan, six units in Grogol Utara, one unit in Pondok Pinang, and eight units in Cipulir Urban Village.
His party has also distributed other assistance such as prosthetic limbs and hearing aids this month.
"We hope that the distribution of this aid will continue to run smoothly," he added.
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries from Cipulir Urban Village, Sri Lestari, expressed her gratitude for the wheelchair assistance she received because it would greatly help her daily activities.
According to her, the process of applying for assistance is relatively easy because it is supported by the RT/RW, urban village, and a survey team from the South Jakarta Social Services Sub-agency.
"Hopefully the government will continue to progress and care about its residents," she hoped.
