Rain Expected to Dampen Jakarta Today

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts partly cloudy skies and light rain across Jakarta today.

Temperatures today will range from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius

"Partly cloudy," stated BMKG's official website on Tuesday (4/28).

By noon, partly cloudy conditions are expected to linger over Seribu Islands. Meanwhile, light rain is set to dampen the rest of the city, covering Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta.

As evening approaches, light rain is predicted to become widespread across all areas of Jakarta, including Seribu Islands. These conditions are expected to persist through the night in several parts of the city.

Light showers will continue to fall over West and South Jakarta late into the night. Conversely, Seribu Islands, Central, North, and East Jakarta are forecast to be overcast.

Temperatures today will range from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels fluctuating between 67 and 96 percent.
