The Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has repaired 6,776 potholes across eight sub- districts from January to April 2026.
The repaired road damage is approximately 11,142 square meters
Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, M. Soleh stated that the repairs were conducted using various materials, including cold mix, hot mix, and rigid pavement or concrete.

Soleh provided a detailed breakdown of the repairs: in Gambir Sub-district, 895 spots were fixed covering 1,267 square meters; in Menteng Sub-district, 667 spots totaling 954 square meters.
Further, in Kemayoran Sub-district, 758 spots were repaired over an area of 1,121 square meters, while in Tanah Abang, 972 spots were addressed covering 1,264 square meters.
In Sawah Besar Sub-district, 423 potholes were fixed spanning 889 square meters, and in Senen Sub-district, 913 spots totaling 991 square meters.
Additionally, in Cempaka Putih, 324 spots were repaired over 991 square meters, and in Johar Baru, 370 spots covering 534 square meters.
"We specifically handled 1,454 potholes with a total area of 3,231 square meters," he explained.
He furthered that the thousands of repaired spots included various road types, such as neighborhood, arterial, collector, and local roads.
The causes of these potholes were attributed to several factors, including puddles, high intensity of rainfall, and the weight of heavy-duty vehicles.
"We will continue to conduct repairs on damaged roads to enhance the comfort and safety of all road users," he concluded.
