Fire Burns Five Houses in Cengkareng Extinguished

Five firetrucks with 25 firefighter personnel of West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency extinguished fire that burned five houses on Jalan Angsana Raya, RT 08/12 Cengkareng Timur Urban Village, Tuesday (5/12) morning.

Head Section of Operational for the Sub-agency, Ahmad Syaiful explained the incident was reported at 6:51 AM.

"We deployed five firetrucks with 25 personnel," he added.
This incident did not result in any fatalities or serious injuries.
"The fire extinguishing process entered the cooling phase at around 7:17 AM. The cause is still under investigation," he continued.
Head of Cengkareng Timur Urban Village, Boy Raya Purba stated this fire resulted in five houses being affected and 15 people losing their homes.
"We are currently coordinating logistical and emergency assistance with the Social Affairs Sub-agency, PMI, and Baznas Bazis," he stated.
