She added that the girder erection work will be carried out in stages at night to minimize traffic disruption and maintain the safety of road users during the construction process.
She explained that girder erection work on the west side of Jalan Prof. Dr. Latumenten will be carried out from May 18–26, 2026, at 10 PM–4 AM. Meanwhile, work on the east side of Jalan Dr. Makaliwe Raya is scheduled to take place from May 29 to June 5, 2026, at the same times.
As for information, the Latumenten Flyover is built with a west side length of 435 meters and an east side length of 426 meters with a flyover width of 11 meters.
"This infrastructure is expected to improve connectivity and facilitate community mobility in the Latumenten area and its surroundings," she explained.
