Busway Sterilization Needs No Bylaw

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama stated that busway sterilization does not need bylaw. It is because the regulation has been managed under traffic act. Sanction given for the offenders is maximum fine.

“We do not need bylaw. Busway should be sterile,” he said, Monday (6/13).

Basuki uttered maximum fine will be given for Transjakarta lane offenders. Blue ticket is applied for this raid. It means the offender must pay the fine via bank.

“We also try to prevent you entering the lane. Personnel will guard the lane entry,” he added.
