Basuki: Transjakarta Corridor I must Be Sterile

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, revealed Transjakarta corridor I (Blok M-Kota) must be sterile. "Considering there are two big projects along the corridor, namely Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Semanggi Interchanges," he said, on the sidelines of executive meeting (rapim), Monday (6/13).

We want 3 in 1 lane and Semanggi project are sterile. From south, if it takes half an hour, I think people prefer to ride the bus to go to Blok M-Kota

With sterilization, people are hoped having option to use Transjakarta bus. Basuki will also develop a valet parking via qlue. If it is jammed, the motorist can request for Transjakarta officer's help to park their vehicle in the nearest building. And then switch to Transjakarta bus.

Besides corridor I, several lanes that were formerly 3 in 1 lane must also be sterile. Because it cannot add road ratio anymore. The right policy is by developing public transport.
