Ulujami Neighborhood Road Upgrade Concludes

The neighborhood road improvement works on Jalan Haji Ridi, Gang Kidan, RT 011/03, Ulujami Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-district, South Jakarta, has reached completion.

The work could be expedited for this year, so we proceeded with the execution immediately

Pesanggrahan Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Afriyanton stated that the road repairs are conducted to community proposals submitted through the Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) 2026.

"Initially, this project was scheduled for next year. However, following a field assessment by the team, it was determined that the work could be expedited for this year, so we proceeded with the execution immediately," he expressed, Tuesday (6/2).

He explained that the repairs targeted road sections suffering from damage and surface degradation, which had been disrupting the daily activities and mobility of residents.

According to him, the asphalting work covered a total area of 290 square meters. The project spanned two days and involved 11 personnel equipped with the necessary supporting machinery.

"We hope this will enhance the safety and comfort of the local road, while facilitating the smooth flow of community activities," he added.

This work received appreciation from one of the locals, Sahid Aji.

"The road was previously riddled with damage. Beyond being a safety risk for road users, these conditions often led to standing water that disrupted daily life. Gratefully, the road has now been restored to a high standard, making it much safer and more pleasant for everyone passing through," he emphasized.
