2,263 Beneficiaries in Grogol Selatan Receive Food Aid

A total of 2,263 Beneficiary Families (KPM) received food aid from Perum Bulog which was distributed in the yard of the Grogol Selatan Urban Village Office, Kebayoran Lama District.

Grogol Selatan Community Welfare Staff, Khairul Fuad said the distribution of aid in the form of rice and cooking oil was given to beneficiary communities registered in the Ministry of Social Affairs' Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS).

Fuad explained that 4,526 sacks of rice and 754 cartons of cooking oil were targeted to be distributed within four days.
Aid was distributed to 1,300 recipients on the first day. On the second day, another 549 beneficiaries were distributed. The remaining aid will be distributed over the next two days.
"Participants who didn't receive their aid on the first day due to incomplete documents were still able to do so the following day. By the fourth day, we were ensuring that all aid was distributed properly and on target," he added.
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries, Nurhayati admitted happily to receive the assistance.
According to her, the assistance was sufficient to help meet her family's consumption needs, both for rice and cooking oil for a month or more.
"I hope this food aid will continue because it is very useful for me and my family," she admitted.
