Local MSMEs Join Bazaar Event at South Jakarta Mayor's Office

Forty assisted small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) or Jakpreneurs have been facilitated to participate in a Festival Bazaar organized by South Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency at the South Jakarta Mayor's Office.

The bazaar serves as a platform to stimulate the local economy

South Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head Djaharuddin said the bazaar serves as a platform for MSMEs to market their products directly, broaden their customer base, and boost sales.

“The bazaar serves as a platform to stimulate the local economy while helping business owners grow and move to the next level,” he said on Wednesday (6/3).

The bazaar, which ran from June 2–3, featured a diverse range of products, including culinary goods, fashion items, and handicrafts.

“All participating Jakpreneurs have gone through a curation process to ensure the quality of the products being marketed,” Djaharuddin asserted.

He expressed hope that the bazaar would help promote MSME products more widely while improving the income of participating businesses.

“I encourage MSMEs to continue improving product quality and innovation so they can reach broader markets,” he added.

Meanwhile, a South Jakarta Mayor's Office employee, Adhisti, welcomed the event.

She said bazaars like this not only help MSMEs economically but also provide employees with a wider variety of products to choose from.

“We are always happy when there is a bazaar at the Mayor's Office. The selection of products, especially food and beverages, becomes much more diverse,” she noted.
