North Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Novy Christine Palit, stated these figures represent a commitment to upholding Jakarta’s rabies-free status and protecting both the community and their pets.
"We are persistently ramping up free rabies vaccination services via a mobile outreach initiative conducted every week in 31 sub-districts to ensure the public can easily access these services," she remarked, Thursday (6/4).

"As of the end of May, the vaccination realization has achieved roughly 40 percent of the 6,300-animal annual target," she clarified.
She added that free rabies vaccination services will be held again in June 2026 in the Sungai Bambu and Lagoa sub-districts.
"Information regarding the vaccination schedule and locations can be accessed via the official Instagram account of the North Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency," she stated.
Novy urged the public to ensure their pets receive routine rabies vaccinations every year. This measure is deemed vital for maintaining animal health and preventing the spread of rabies within residential areas.
"Hope public awareness regarding regular annual vaccinations for pets continues to grow, ensuring that both animal health and environmental safety are preserved," she concluded.
