The Central Jakarta City Government moved quickly to handle hundreds of fire survivors on Jalan Tanah Tinggi IV RT 09 RW 07, Johar Baru, Thursday (6/4).

He explained that other work unit organizations such as the Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registry Sub-agency had also opened a post to help fire survivors process their burned population documents.
"We also have a medical team on standby from the Johar Baru Community Health Center to assist with health checks on fire survivors," he explained.
The fire that occurred on Thursday (5/4) early morning at around 12.15 AM destroyed 30 houses.
Head Section of Operation for Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue, Syarifudin admitted 24 firetrucks with 140 personnel were deployed to extinguish the fire.
"The fire was successfully localized at around 1.35 AM, and continued with the cooling process," he admitted.
It was recorded that around 250 people from 60 families lost their homes due to this incident.
